I have not received a certificate of employment. What can I do?
Your employer is not required to issue you a certificate of employment at his own initiative. If you have not requested a certificate of employment from your employer, you must do so. You may make the request verbally or in writing, e.g. by e-mail.
If you have already requested a certificate of employment but have not received it, contact the occupational safety and health division of the region where your workplace is located. Contact details for the occupational safety and health divisions can be found on the Contact information page. You can request enforcement with the form Enforcement request – employment relationship matters (pdf). Enforcement requests can also be submitted electronically in the occupational safety and health e-service, which is currently being piloted. For more information, see the page E-service pilot.
