Working together to ensure occupational safety and health
Employers and employees must work together to maintain and improve occupational safety in the workplace. The employer is responsible for risk assessment and continuous monitoring of employees’ work and for making improvements as required. Occupational safety and health are founded on the employer’s occupational safety and health organisation and safety culture, which reflects the management’s views on the importance of safety. Its implementation in practice requires commitment from all members of staff.
