As a rule, after study leave, the employee will return to the work specified in their employment contract that they performed prior to their study leave, unless otherwise agreed. The employer is not obliged to offer a job corresponding to the new qualification obtained through the education. If the employer has a job corresponding to the employee’s new qualification, the employer and the employee may negotiate a change in the job description to correspond with the studies.
