We are signing a subcontract. The contracting partner has provided statements on contractor’s obligations. The extract from the Trade Register is dated 1 January 2019. Do we have to get a newer statement?

Yes, as the statements obtained by the contractor must not be more than three months old. Based on the extract from the Trade Register, the contractor can verify, for example, that the contracting partner company’s responsible persons are not subject to any bans on business operations. Therefore, the contractor must obtain up-to-date statements.
