Legislation imposes restrictions on how certain kinds of work may be performed or assigned. In some cases, it is possible to obtain an exemption or authorisation from the occupational safety and health authority for certain other kinds of work. The Occupational Safety and Health authority must be notified of certain further kinds of work.
The section Permits and notifications contains information and instructions on permits and authorisations that may be applied for and notifications to be submitted to the Occupational Safety and Health authority.
The section Forms brings together all occupational safety and health administration forms. In addition to forms related to permit and notification procedures, there are also templates for employment contracts and certificates of employment. A broader selection of forms is available on this website in Finnish.
The Telephone Service section includes the contact information of the Nationwide Telephone Service of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the topics of the telephone service. Other contact methods can be found on the page Contact Information.
We are currently developing new interactive e-services. Our aim is to make it possible to, for example, resolve a service request more quickly and monitor the processing of a request. At the moment, there are three services being piloted in the interactive occupational safety and health e-service. For more information, see pages E-service pilot and Developing interactive customer service.
